Do i need a crown?

When a tooth is fractured or is severely damaged by decay or has a large old filling, a crown may be recommended. Crowns strengthen remaining tooth structure, and play an aesthetic and functional role.

What's involved in a crown?

The crowns, when cemented into place, fully encase the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line. We use a variety of crowns that are metal, ceramic and porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns and use crowns for both temporary and permanent situations.

What is a bridge and do i need a bridge?

A bridge is a fixed dental structure that we create and use to fill in the space between adjacent teeth. Our bridges are made of high quality composite resin. Bridges are usually recommended when work on crowns is being done and there is a space between the adjacent teeth.
